A radical “chamber of commerce” for Fort Worth activistpreneurs.
We offer a mixture of virtual and in-person learning, guided discussions, tools & templates, and civic engagement opportunities tailored to the experience of biz owners, nonprofit EDs, and freelancers, aligning culture + activism in their work.
It all started as a private space for partners (clients) of The Afrocentric Communiversity, LLC. We shared information, links to for-profit & non-profit funding, held private events, and more. After many requests for access to these resources from the community, the Village opened to the general public in August 2022.
Since then, we have fostered a space for activistpreneurs to find everything they need to start, grow, and maintain their life work - just like a chamber of commerce. Our members have found brick & mortar locations, built strategic plans, found clients, and learned how to stick to their principles and values as an activist-based founder and executive director.
With dreams of becoming THE resource hub for activistpreneurs in Texas, in December 2024, we became fiscally sponsored by New Endeavor Texas to gain the funding needed to amplify our work.
of free strategic coaching offered to members since August 2022.
90% of members receive a client, collaboration or partnership after attending one Village event.
in the form of live streaming, workshops, trainings, & teach-ins about building your life work.
All available on demand.
community meetups and events hosted across Texas.
[The Cross Pollination] was my first event with The Communiversity Village. I followed them on IG after a sisterfriend spoke so highly of the group and the impact of being in community with them. I love that the concept + approach was unique for a networking event. It was accessible, there was ease in registering, thoughtful pre-event communication, and intentional in the way it was organized + executed. The event exceeded my expectations! I am now a member of The Communiversity Village. — Apache |

Attend our remixed networking events for activist-based businesses and nonprofits in DFW. Cross Pollinations are excellent ways to find the connection or resource you need to grow your life work. Most importantly, they're catered to those with social anxiety who HATE traditional networking 😉
Get access to an online bank as a partner (client) of The A.C. and member of The Village. Thus far, we've given away more than $500 to help activistpreneurs invest in their business and non-profits in a grassroots way.
From November 2024 - February 2025, we hosted a Sacred Womxn's Circle for our members interested in developing a spiritual practice that heightened their enlightenment as an activistpreneur. Free for members, the Circle aimed to provide spiritual stamina to continue running an activist-powered business in 2025.

The Village has been a space for me to form genuine, invaluable relationships. Note, I said relationships and not just connections. Everyone is truly in this space to support each other's life work, and to be a reliable source of support. From the cross pollination events, to virtual workshops, sacred group spaces for spirituality and more, I've been able to thrive in The Village as a human first, and business owner shortly there after. Everyone I've met in The Village are now longtime friends, and we ALL approach life and business with a people first approach. In a very capitalistic society, we aim to be the rebellious leaders that the world needs and deserves. Jalyn has truly curated a membership worthy of being added to the budget. As an introverted business owner, the thought of being in community (large crowds, really) my social anxiety is always at ease and I feel so very comfortable with conversing with all of the amazing folxs. I'd also like to mention how much I've been able to learn people's cultures, way's of life and opinions in a healthy way! It's refreshing to be around people who give a damn! — Sunnie, founder of SolCo Studio |
